Matin Nakhl Ahmadi (also known as soulimous) is a Vancouver-based visual effects artist, graduated from both art and engineering school. With over a decade of experience as a senior lighting and compositing artist, he has collaborated with top VFX houses around the world, including ILM, DNEG, Sony Imageworks, and MPC.

His credits include major projects such as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, House of the Dragon, and Deadpool & Wolverine. He was part of the Academy Award-winning team at DNEG for Dune: Part Two, and has also contributed to commercial campaigns for AMG, Bosch, Porsche, and Volkswagen.

Drawing from his foundation in photography, he brings a sharp eye for light, color, and composition to every shot. He enjoys tackling challenging work that bridges the gap between lighting and compositing, always aiming to elevate the story through visual craft.
