Matin Nakhl Ahmadi, aslo known as Soulimous, is a multidisciplinary visual artist and visual effects professional based in Vancouver. With a unique background bridging art and engineering, he has spent over a decade crafting award-winning imagery in the film and animation industry, contributing to landmark productions such as Dune: Part Two, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Deadpool & Wolverine, and House of the Dragon through studios like ILM, DNEG, Sony Imageworks, and MPC.

Parallel to his cinematic work, Matin develops deeply personal photographic and experimental art projects that explore memory, cultural identity, and emotional landscapes. His photography is quiet and painterly, shaped by his Iranian heritage and years of working with light and atmosphere in cinema. Often focusing on people within environments, his images reflect on migration, belonging, and the textures of everyday life. In recent years, Matin has begun integrating emerging technologies—including AI and generative media—into his creative process
