Matin Nakhl Ahmadi, also known as soulimous, is a Vancouver-based multidisciplinary artist and VFX artist with a background in art and engineering. Over the past decade, he has worked across film and animation with ILM, DNEG, Sony Pictures Imageworks, and MPC, contributing to projects including Dune: Part Two, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Deadpool & Wolverine, and House of the Dragon.

Alongside his work in film, Matin develops personal photography and experimental projects that often focus on people and their relationship with the spaces around them. His work is heavily influenced by his Iranian heritage and his experience working with light and atmosphere in cinema. More recently, he has been exploring AI and generative media as new tools for expanding his visual language and creative process.
